Job Summary

We are actively seeking energetic, highly reliable, and physically active individuals to join our hub sorting team. As a Part-Time Warehouse Sorter, you will process incoming packages, scan barcodes, and allocate freight to specific delivery routes. You will serve as the organizational core of the facility, delivering the signature reliability that sets GLS apart in the parcel delivery industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Freight Processing: Safely unload parcels from inbound line-haul trailers, placing them onto the central sorting conveyor system.
• Accurate Sorting: Read routing codes quickly and divert packages to the correct staging areas or cages for the outbound delivery drivers.
• Scanning & Verification: Utilize handheld scanners to capture package data into the tracking system, identifying and setting aside any damaged or incorrectly labeled parcels.
• Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse floor, breaking down pallets and adhering to all safe-lifting protocols.

• Physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and bend for the entire duration of the sort.
